Saarburg, Germany. Like something out of a fairy-tale. Lunch was up on a mountain at an Italian restaurant looking over the whole town, such a treat.

Villeroy and Boch Museum Cafe, Mettlach in saarland Germany. All the tiles used are that made in their very own tile factory. The Museum showcases many items from their ceramics range produced over the years. There is a range of unique pieces made as one off's and pieces that are well known from their signature ranges dating back to when they first started production.

Saareck Castle.The Schloss Saareck guesthouse is situated in an inviting park by the banks of the River Saar. The building, constructed in 1902/3, is where Villeroy & Boch entertains its guests today.

Banana bread. You can't beat the smell of it wafting through the apartment while its  baking on a Sunday Morning. Bliss.

The Eiffel Tower. We see so many images of the tower in its true glory but what i found quite striking and unique was the view of the tower through the Mur De La Paix (The wall for Peace).The Wall for peace consists of a steel frame clad in wood, of steel and glass. It measures nearly 16 meters long, 13 meters wide and 9 meters high. On large glass facades is written the word "peace" in 49 different languages.
